Malunggay; A Healthful Plant That Can Help Heal Wounds

Malunggay (Moringa oleifera) is rich in proteins, vitamin A, minerals, essential amino acids, antioxidants, and flavonoids, as well as isothiocyanates, per National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). I’m taking seeds today (3-5 seeds per day) to heal my slightly swollen pinky finger. How to use – Crack the seeds gently with a hard object (example, cover of plastic container). Peel off the shell, until the white, semi soft seed comes out. Do not chew the seeds, just swallow it like a pill. – I tried chewing the seed, and it’s bitter/sweet. Not advisable to chew. #foodismedicine

Be sure to plant your own Philippine cinnamon at home, as part of your container gardening, or in the ground, at home or in the farm, as food and medicine. Message us for the seedlings! #conservation #livelihood #health #local
