A Plant Patch By My Daughter
Happy to see our turmeric plant rising to life as the rains come. This patch was planted by my then-9 year old daughter in 2017, and we never had to plant again. Since then, once the turmeric develop rhizomes, we don’t harvest everything. We harvest only when we need some, and leave everything in the ground. The turmeric grows by itself. Turmeric is one of our first aid for fever, cough, and colds. #foodismedicine
