Female Farmers In North Negros
In the unknown part of North Negros in Don Salvador there are different women farmers fighting to survive and make a living by making use of what they have. Many thanks to Yob Doronila and Maria-Lourdes Doronila, for funding the planting of 600 Philippine cinnamon by 6 women farmers in DSB, Negros Occidental.
“It’s to remind us to protect our planet, our home. My mother did it, so she for sure is happy for all of the farmers who do it. She loved her land.” (Yob) What a lovely way to remember the late Lourdes Visayas Silverio Doronila, herself from Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.

Be sure to plant your own Philippine cinnamon at home, as part of your container gardening, or in the ground, at home or in the farm, as food and medicine. Message us for the seedlings! #conservation #livelihood #health #local
